Vivek’s Photographs Selected For Exhibition In Singapore

Vivek Issar, an amateur photographer is one of the photographers whose entry has been picked up by National Geographic Channel to exhibit in “Building People 2012 Photography Exhibition” jointly organized by CapitaLand and National Geographic Channel at Singapore.

Vivek, working as a Senior Associate at Advaiya Solutions is perhaps the only Indian to get his work showcased in the exhibition, which is going to start from 17th to 21st August.

The competition was announced in May 2012 and the subject was to show people interaction with CapitaLand Buildings. Celebration Mall is the only CapitaLand Building in Udaipur and all participants needed to capture Celebration Mall’s photos with the people integration.Two Photos of Celebration Mall clicked by Vivek made the grade to reach Singapore in an International Exhibition and if wins the competition, he will get a chance to attend a workshop with Annie Griffiths, Photographer at National Geographic.

For Vivek, photography is an art to capture moments and make them alive forever and sometimes it’s the easiest way to express your feelings to others.

“It requires lots of Passion and Patience”, said Vivek in an email conversation.

“Although I am very new to photography, I tried to capture uncommon shots and do a lot of tickling with my camera”, said Vivek.

The Celebration Mall administration confirmed the selection of Vivek’s photographs and the email he had received from Singapore.

Although, even after being selected, Vivek is not going to Singapore because of personal reasons.
