No Relief From Chilling Waves Yet


There seem to be no stoppage to the chilling waves in the LakeCity yet. The temperature is dropping day-by-day and people are facing lots of difficulties because of it, especially, the small children who have to face the chilling morning waves to travel a distance to reach their schools. Government officers and other concerned authorities  who travel in closed cars and sit in closed offices were ignoring the problems of those little kids, till now, who have to wake up early in the morning to reach their school. But today, Collector, Mr. Hemant Gera declared a holiday for tomorrow i.e. January 23, 2012 in all the schools of the city due to these unbearable cold waves. Read more

Sharp Fall Of Temperature Leads To Two Days Vacation In Schools


Due to intense cold and chilling waves in the city, the temperature has experienced a sudden drop down which has forced the Collector Mr. Hemant Gera to declare two days of holidays in both government and private schools of the city. It has been noted that whole North India is experiencing the shivering cold waves due to heavy snowfall in the hilly areas. This is leading to cold waves in the plain areas. Read more
