Experience The Royal Ganesh Chaturthi


Everyone celebrated ‘गणेश चतुर्थी‘ yesterday with lots of zeal and enthusiasm but what a common man can’t witness is the celebration of various festivals by The Royal Family. Today we will take you to a journey where you can see and witness the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations of the Queen of Mewar, Her Highness Vijayraj Kumari Mewar.

To worship Lord Ganesha on this auspicious day, Her Highness visited the ‘Sundri Vinayak‘ Ganpati Temple situated at Hotel Vinayak at Kalaji Goraji area. She attended the noon Aarti and prayed for the prosperity of the town and all people. She was very excited after seeing the beautiful statue of the Sundri Vinayak which was beautifully decorated with silver ornaments called ‘Dank‘.

After her prayers, she was offered Prasad and Aashka by the priest Harish Bhatt. The chief priest Ghanshyam Lal Bhatt informed her about online slots the history and importance of this special statue.

Earlier when she arrived, she was welcomed by many people present there and she very much appreciated this warm welcome.

About the Temple

  • The Statue was handed over to the Royal Priest of Mewar, Pt. Ghanshyam Lal Bhatt by Maharana Jagat Singh.
  • A unique statue with Lord Ganpati having the trunk towards right hand side.
  • It has another small statue engraved on the stomach area of the main statue named ‘Sundri Ji’ which is a form of ‘Bhagwati’
  • There’s no statue of the very famous ‘Vahan’ (vehicle) of Lord Ganesha, Mouse.
  • There are statues of Vishnu and Laxmi and statues of Vahan of Shiv and Parvati.
